An Important
Personal Note From John Mauldin
There is one
more step to take before I can send you the Accredited Investor
E-letter. The good news is that you are going to get a letter
with some of my best investment ideas, gleaned from a lot of travel
and hard work, absolutely free.
I will do my
best to open up my world of private investment and hedge funds to
you. I trust you will find it as fascinating and rewarding as I
do. My goal is to show you a dozen or more funds over the next year
and let you decide if one or more of them fits your needs.
First, there
are a few (well, more than a few) rules associated with receiving
specific information about private offerings. As much as I would
like, I cannot simply send you my newsletter just from the submitted
form. There is one more critical step we must take. The regulations
state that in order for me to give you specific information on funds
and private offerings, which is presumably what you are interested
in, there must be a prior relationship and we must have a basis
for assuming private investments and hedge funds are suitable for
you.
To help establish
that relationship, and make my investment ideas available to you,
I work exclusively with one of the premier alternative investment
boutique firms in the country, Altegris Investments. I have a great
deal of trust in and respect for Jon Sundt (the president) and his
team. If I do nothing else but bring these hedge fund pros to your
attention, I believe I will be doing you a great service. Together
we can bring you resources and investment ideas that are not available
to the average investor.
As I wrote on
the web site, one of their professionals will be calling you shortly
for a brief interview. They will simply ask you a few questions.
This is NOT a sales call, as we cannot discuss specifics or send
you any specific fund information for 30 days. If at some point
in the future, one of the funds or investments I write about should
be of interest to you, the representative from Altegris will help
you get more information. We work together to help bring you access
to some of the funds I think have special opportunities in the environment
of a Secular Bear Market and a Muddle Through Economy.
In the meantime,
you will be getting two newsletters designed to educate you on finding
private offerings and how to invest in them, as well as other information
on our respective firms and alternative investments. We are here
to serve you and open up a door to private investments that is unique
in my experience.
If for some
odd reason, you do not get a call from Altegris Investments within
the next two weeks (that contact must be made before I send
you my e-letters with specific investment ideas), then call me at
800-829-7273 or email me at [email protected]
and I will make it happen. If you have any questions or concerns
today, do not hesitate to write or call. You can also get in touch
with Altegris Investments at 800-828-5225.
